Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health at the University of Manchester: Four-week summer school in Epidemiology

We have received invitation from the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health at the University of Manchester about a four-week summer school in Epidemiology between 22 July 2019 and 16 August 2019.The purpose of this summer school is to provide you with an in-depth introduction to epidemiology and public health. You will be taught in small groups by experts in the fields of evidence synthesis, biostatistics, health economics and health inequalities. You will be supported to work together with your peers on group tasks to develop your epidemiology skills. You will also be given the opportunity to improve your presentation skills in an academic setting. In addition to the academic program, there will be plenty of opportunities for social activities. The cost of the 4 week course is 3,000 pound sterling, and it covers the following items:

  • Group airport transfers from Manchester Airport
  • Program fees
  • Student accommodation (en-suite single room/shared kitchen)
  • Orientation and farewell events and selected social activities
