Enlistment of Resident Tutors (2024-25)

Full-time degree-holding CUHK staff member and full-time postgraduate students are welcome to apply.  Details can be found on our promotion poster.  Online application should be submitted by 18 March 2024.  Having completed the application, applicants will receive an email notification summary, where submission of such email may be requested, at the email address provided.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview on 8 April 2024 tentatively and provide all supporting documents for verification.

What do Resident Tutors do?

Residents are encouraged to contact Resident Tutors and the Wardens for any questions about their hostel life.  There are 10 Resident Tutors serving at the College Hostel.  2 Resident Tutors are arranged to be on duty every day, and they will station at the College Hostel from 9:30pm to 7:30am the next day.  The duty roster is put up on every hostel floor door for residents' information. All Resident Tutors offer a regular, weekly 2-hour session called "Resident Tutor Hours" to residents, during which they will either open their hostel room door or station at the common area of the hostel floor.  Simply say "hi" to them when you see them!  Of course, you are very welcome to ask questions or share with them whatever you feel like!
